How to Bridge Double-Frequency Routing and Single-Frequency Routing (Part 3)

The difference between single-frequency routers and dual-frequency routers is that they can solve the channel congestion of routers without increasing the actual network speed. So the bridge mode of single-frequency router and dual-frequency router is the same as that of the gang router. Because it's not about which bridge you choose, here are two kinds of bridges. A wired bridge, a wireless bridge


Cable bridging


Suppose there are two routers: router A and router B. 1. Take a network cable from any of the 1234 ports of router a (as long as not router a's Wan port) to router b's Wan port, confirm whether router A and router B have the same IP address (ip is on the router label), if the IP address is different, then the bridge can be used directly now, if the IP address is one. Sample, use the device (mobile phone or computer) to enter router b, find the LAN settings, modify the IP inside (assuming the original IP is 192.168.1.1, then change it to 192.168.1.2). The settings are saved, and the PS wired bridge is more stable than the wireless bridge.


Wireless Bridging


This bridge is limited by distance and obstruction, so there is no stable cable bridge.


1. Click on "Wireless Settings" - "Basic Settings" SSID (fill in whatever you like) to enter the router a settings interface. Channels can be selected randomly from 1 to 13, but you can't choose automatic, turn off WDS function, choose WPA-PSK as encryption mode, and password is your preference. Encryption click "DHCP Server" - "DHC Server Settings" to set "Address Pool Start Address" to 192.168.1.100 and "Address Pool End Address" to 192.168.1.149. Otherwise, save and restart the main router a, so that the main router is set up.


2. Entry route prevents collision with the main router. The router B sets the interface, finds the LAN settings, modifies the IP (which is not the same as the IP of router a), and prevents collision with the main router a.

3. Click on "Wireless Settings", "Basic Settings". Channel selection is the same as router a. Open WDS. Encryption mode is WPA-PSK. Password is the same as router a. Click on scan to find SSID of router a, click on link, enter password of router a, click on "DHCP Server"-"and"DHCP Server Settings". The address pool start address was changed to 192.168.1.150. The address pool end start address was changed to 192.168.1.199. The gateway could fill in the IP address of the main router, save and restart the router as long as it did not intersect with the main router. The bridge is completed.
